19X9.5 +23 on Evo 8.5, CONCAVE

Hey guys, just the car out of the shop and want to do some showin off. Let me know what you think about the 19's on an 8. That's right 19's. Nobody has these rims do to them being custom made in my offset. They look exactly like the BBS MR version on the X. Flame on!!!

Personally I dont like them, I think they are too big 19's are just too much for the pre evo X body.
But if you like them then bump for you

Tires could definitly be meatier and such, but honestly, I kind of like the look. Good job on being different while not making the car look retarded.

WOW some great responses!!! Yeah I should have gone with 35 series with the 18" but hey this is what I got. When I get my X Touring then these will go right on. They are low pressure cast rims so they actually are not as heavy as you would think. I put them on my scale and they are 27lbs with the black powder-coating. The same weight as say a rota in 18X9.5 +20 which I see everywhere!!!

Let me tell you that the car DEFIANTLY stands out! I even had a lady in her car open HER mouth wide open and stare HAHAHAHA I just laughed.

fyi: Those rotas in18x9.5 weigh anywhere between 20-22, depending on the rim. No where near 27.

I had 19" SSR's on my VIII and IX. I really miss them. Yours do look pretty good too. Upgrade those cheapo tires though.

The only rota near that light is the DPT which I believe is 22lbs. I'm on my 3rd set of rota's, so i'm not "hating".
