Well i drive my car hard and race a lot with my Advans. Well after a year these rims got TRASHED. Well trashed might be an understatement. They were DESTROYED. Some people would cringe when they saw them. One of my rims was badly bent, one rim was cracked and every single rim had ALOT of rash on the lip. And then there was casualty from the 120mph tire blow out. That rim looked AWEFUL! Practically flat in some areas...
Shaun at Unique Finish in Freeport NY had his hands full with these rims! What seperates Unique Finish from the other repair shops is that Shaun WELDS on metal to the rims and then machines it down to match the rims. Here are some pics of the rims in the process. LOOK AT ALL THAT WELDING!!! THESE RIMS WERE REALLY BAD!!!
I wanted to keep the rims the same color and look like new Advans. Well here you go guys... THE FINAL PRODUCT!!
The rims look like they are BRAND NEW!!! Shaun did an AMAZING job with machining down the ADVAN lettering and the lips look PERFECT!!! People looked at them with there jaws on the floor and asked if I bought new rims. This was a 2 coat job with the color coat and a clear coat.

Should of done the wheels the same color :P Rims look sick...Now I need a guy down here to do that to my Volks.

How much was it per rim? If you mind me asking. I'm actually interested in doing my wheels.
