Kind of reminds me of Nissan's color changing paint technology. With a push of a button you can change your blue car to yellow, green, red, etc... To bad their not allowing them to make it on the production cars.

It looks like LCD glass. We have it in our executive board room at work. It will not be cheap. It is cool as hell. Never thought about doing it on a passenger car. Those looked like Toronto Canada plates.


Possibilities......hmmmmmmm?

I seen this in bathrooms on shower doors and such. Its a special sheet of glass that when a current is run through it, the glass reacts and darkens. I'm sure there is more to it, but thats the basic idea.

Never though of using it in a car, but would do wonders for getting out of tint tickets. Not sure how effective as far as UV protection though.

your definitely correct I believe I saw it in someones bathroom on Mtv Cribs or something lol.

it's like that vampire movie where hes driving his Chrystler 300C and has all his windows darkend pitch black in a second to hide the people in his car. that would be cool to have on the car take any girl to a drive-in movie anywhere anytime HAHA!!

The windows are probably electrochromic, the same technology used in self dimming rear view mirrors.
