35rs are fine, I loved mine. At 30 psi it was ok but turn that to 35+ and it was a different world. I thought I saw e85 on the first page and then pump mentioned on the second. I trapped 136 on an old school 35r with a 63 hotside. Nothing special, kelford 272, basic ams 2.0 and e85. I think you will have problems with that act at the power levels you are looking for. If you have ANY lockout issues its time for a twin of some sort. Either a QM if you are willing to deal with the harshness(doesnt bother me) or an exedy twin hd. Ive had both, the exedy were smooth but costly to rebuild

136 is bad ***! was that on 35psi? how much did you make?
I know I won't be able to do e85 with the act kinda sucks, I don't want to do a 6 puck because they are hard on drivetrain. I would like to do a twin But from what I have read they don't last very long and typically need rebuild every 6 months. And I do drive my evo alot.. I am hoping I will be ok with the act hd on just pump gas.. I am not sure what to do with the clutch situation though

I never dynoed the car. I was killing acts at 400 hp and made the switch to a twin. If you know how to drive you can make an exedy HD last years. Mine was over 10k miles and a ton of launches and passes at the strip. With my power lever being higher now Im about the same with a QM but its cheaper to rebuild and I do it myself but they are more aggressive and aren't for everyone. I haven't driven on my new 8 leg QM yet but everyone says its nicer. The qm are about 500 bucks to rebuild where an exedy is substantially more last time I checked. I was getting lockout in my act when I was still stock turbo and under 400hp with the QM over 700 I never have an issue.

When the heck did gavin get a truck? Hopefully he made the right choice and got a cummins and of course sti's dont have a chance hence one of the many reasons we both made the switch
