Yes, it feels like I have been working on it forever. Biggest time suck was with the original head I was going to run on the car. Head was given the full treatment by Brad over at RLZ Engineering, but had nothing but problems with it. First had a problem with the stem seals from Brad, replaced them & then had problems with the valve guides which were done here locally. Ending up having it on and off the car three separate times before we decided to call it quits and get one from Greg at GSC. Really got tired of buying Cosworth head gaskets. Had some issues with the machine shop during the block machining process, issues with AEM, and other misc stuff. Sending the old head Brad originally worked on over to GSC so Greg can go through it and make sure things are legit and 100%. AEM went back to AEM to get checked out and certified good. Nothing major with it, but just seemed a bit too glitchy to me. I have been told by several different tuners that AEMs are just that way, but just wasn't acceptable to me.
Lots of obstacles to overcome, but I guess sometimes it's just the nature of the beast. I truely believe quitters never win and winners never quit. There were times where I thought about parting her out, but then I would just go down to the shop and sit in the drivers seat for about 15 minutes and those thoughts would go away. I do have to really thank Reid and the rest of the crew though. Through all these problems, Reid covered all materials and labor to make things right even though it wasn't his fault in any shape form of fashion. Truely a stand-up business owner and friend.

Thanks everyone. Headed this afternoon to street tune her on e85. Want to try and get things dialed in as close as we can before we take her to the dyno over at Speedfactory.
