That thing is huge.

That is a good thread though, thanks for the link. It seems most in the thread though are going JDM style bumpers.

There should be a box on the right that says direct link and post that.

The diffuser on the LY evo is just right. Its all about function!

I agree there, but I still think that one is huge.

I like the APR diffuser look and it still maintains function. I would like to have it work with the exhaust shield too though.

the crash beam is ONLY on the USDM EVO's, not the JDM, EDM, or ADM. It is a useless POS that does nothing but add weight. If you get hit it will not matter one way or the other. JDM IX rear bumper and Voltex CF diffuser FTW!

Thanks for the pic.

Okay I think I see it. It might be shadow but it looks like you are getting the discoloration above the exhaust tip like I am though.

I am running the Greddy Ti-C and not long after a wash I start getting the dark spot from the fumes coming back again. Sort of the reason I want a shield

Surely the beam adds some protection even if it is from low impact?

I do like the look of the JDM diffusers more, but I would have to do some serious research into how much protection the beam provides, before I would go that route.

You could ask some of the guys on here that have apr+heat sheild and ask them what they did. Idk for sure but I'm guessing it just sits on top of it, that or you have to trim the sheild.
