well, had a great day yesterday at buttonwillow!! ended with 2nd place in modified awd class..and 3rd in my high intermediate run group (out of 20 cars)
ran configuration 13 counter clockwise and was only able to muster a 2:08.1 due to my brakes.. wasnt able to get race pads in time for this event.. but will have them before auto clubs roval event on august 14th
oh, and i always like to say, she is still my 100% daily driver!!!

thanks everyone!!!! i kinda started backwards w/ the car.. i built it to look how i wanted... but now am focusing more function over form... almost wish i had invested all the money on making it look good, into performance... but oh well.. no biggie... she is still a blast to drive!! and dont have a whole lot left to change to get her running better lap times (brake pads, larger oil cooler, front splitter/untertray, brake cooling ducts) ..those are next on my list

don't worry, you aren't alone in that arena. I'd bet the majority of us car owners try to make our cars faster before working on the driver mod. the important thing is that you seem to be on the right track, no pun intendend.
Gotta love Rally Red race cars, that looks beautiful. What tires did you end up running? What brake pads are you planning on getting?
What is SV Time Attack? I'm assuming it's not Redline's series?

SVTA took the "privateer" guys out of Redline TA, because RTA wanted to cater more towards shop cars what not. SVTA has a program which allows you to get a license with RTA, as long as you attend three SVTA events and podium I believe. I will be doing 3-4 SVTA events this year, so I can compete in RTA next year if the wallet allows me to do so
I was also at the above event but I didn't get any pictures of my car
Nice pics Jesse
