Blacked out headlights last night!
Big thanks to my buddy Justin for helping my out with blacking out my headlights last night! They came out great, but take a long time to do as this is something you don't wanna rush!

Damn that is super nice - any chance you have a "write up" on what you guys did? I am hoping to attempt this too, but like most others I am quite nervous about baking apart a $500 headlight assembly, haha.
Great job! It's a painstaking process getting that lense off without breaking it. I learned that the hard way a few years ago on one of my dsm's lol. A little attention to detail goes a long way they look really good.

Get a heat gun and flat head screw driver.... That way you can control the amount of heat you apply to the HLs....
Opening HLs can be done with alot less heat than ppl think.... Gimme a heat gun and flat head screw driver and ill open them with my eyes closed...
By the time you pre heat the oven, put the HL in, take it out for opening, put the next HL in, take it out for opening I would have opened up 2 and a half sets already...
trust me... HEAT GUN & FLAT HEAD SCREW DRIVER... FULL STOP!!!!
