The GT-A's shift buttons on the steering wheel are really cool, although like I said, you lose 20-40 BHP because of the tranny.

It'd be awesome if they had a manual with F1 shifters. And I'd take that hood over a vented hood anyday. I'd hate drawing the attention from people and cops or kids pouring stuff into it.

I'd gladly fork over $3k to Mitsu for a factory warrantied Sequential Manual Tranmission in the Evo.. That would be a sweet surprise for the 04s...

As you can see from this image engine is only slightly weaker then ordinar evo 7 (267bhp vs. 276) but probably drive train (trany) looses are higher.
By the way this lancer has some enhancements to make it more silent highway cruiser.

If you gays are interested and haven’t read GT-A review I recommend evo mag.

That's $140 for a year subscription to the US! Granted I have about $400 a year in subscriptions to too many magazines, but I can't find a reasonable excuse for one magazine subscription to cost that.

There is always an alternative to view older reviews online. I am not personally subscribing to evo magazine but time to time check their homepage.

Awesome ride. I've always loved the GTA. The GTA is a Luxury Sports Sedan. I actually convinced my dad to get one here in the US before he bought his S500 AMG [My whole family are mitsubishi nuts...long line of mitsu car owners here since the 70s!] but after all the grey market b/s going on he turned his back and just went for the AMG. He rather have the GTA over the AMG....

also to add the INVECS II triptonic transmission was co-designed and built by BMW. The INVECS II triptonic actually was BMWs first prototype for the new M3's triptonic trans The INVECS II trans is the base for BMW's triptonic trans.
