Okay so I bought a set of volk gtu's from a member a couple of weeks ago. The barrels were PC white and i've decided to bring it back to it's original polished finish. The paint has already been chemicaly removed and now they need polishing. I called Mackin and they tell me the gtu is anodized aluminum, okay so I ask around and I am told that if I anodize them after polishing it will not be as shiny. So i checked out some pics of other Gtu's and they look pretty shiny. So is there some special process they go through from the factory? Can I get back to it's orginal finish or better? So far my options are
A. Mechanical polish+anodize.
B. Electro polsih+ anodize.
Or is there some kind of super protective clear coat that I can use instead of the anode?
