My EVO 8... 9 Bumper & the RE30s
My EVO 8... 9 Bumper & the RE30s
This is my second EVO and love the car. I purchased it here on EVOm from MO_EVO8 about 5 months ago. I have done a few mods myself(mainly cosmetic). Took a few pics after finally getting the RE30s I have wanted for quite some time. I am not a picture taking guru and I have an old point and shoot SD630... I'm too cheap to upgrade to hi def. I'll probably have a friend with a good camera do actual shoot soon.
Well enjoy... comments positive and negative welcomed.

and yes... I love whoring her out

I will take some a post them tomorrow. Its been raining here and I try to avoid driving in the rain.

Thanks guys

I am painting them a bright silver with Red Letters. I was going to do this but the weather here is not cooperating... been raining for like 3 weeks here. Me and a friend were going to do an actual photoshoot with a much better camera after doing the Brembos but I got tired of waiting for the sun... The Brembos are driving me nuts. They are badly in need of a paint job.
Wheels specs: RE30 CS, 18x9.5 +22
3mm Spacer up Front needed to clear the Brembos.
Car is dropped on Tein Springs and OEM struts for the moment. Either going to upgrade to KWs or MR Bilsteins/Swift or GT Worx Combo over the winter.
Tires are Yoko S Drives 255/35/18s. Fenders are rolled flat in the rear. As for Alignment... -1.5 Front -1.2 Rear. Zero Toe.
For anyone looking to purchase a set of these particular RE30s... you will not be dissapointed. The lip is a bit bigger than my last set of CE28Ns... same size.. offset was lower on the CEs though at +15.
These REs are only available in one color but I love it. Hides dirt easily cause of the gunmetal finish and this offset gives the slight concave spokes. I had my buddy drive the car and I followed him and the car looks soooo sick... as for the Yoko S Drives.. they run a bit wider than most 255s.. so they can be mistaken for 265s. I will bump to 265s when I get coils or better springs.
And thanks to Ryan at Speed Element for the wheels. Best pricing and got the wheels in roughly 10 weeks special order from Japan.
