EVO vs. STI Shootout 2011
I had the best time ever at this event! It was a pleasure meeting some of you for the first time. Hopefully we can keep this up.
Congrats to the Dr.Evil Evo that took 1st place in the heads up category ,,,, My wife went four rounds and won a prize in the brackets-- I was shaking my 'pom-poms' all afternoon!
I think there's another evo vs sti shoot-out Nov 19th at the street wars event,, Looking forward to that one!

You car ran well. I have a few pics of your car from ohio, however the majority is from the t-case explosion.. I have like 10 pics of it as it was happening if I remember correctly..Happens to the best of us.
There was a nice handfull of really nice strong running cars this year. I just hope we can continue having sucessfull events in the years to come, seems like less people show up every year (in nj that is)..

Im probably going down there too for that event... Every time i see vids of that shootout there is no evo love there...
Peteyturbo went 11.0 and didn't make a full 100% pass all day until that last one and hadn't even been driving the car recently. Tuned it the night before and brought it out. Still had his kids recaro baby seat in the back.
I'll have a video up of his action later on.
The shootout had a big turnout, it kind of surprised when i pulled up and was waiting outside the track to get it... just wish they prepped the track better... I couldnt grip for **** and had to do some last minute suspension and tire pressure changes to compensate... i had the gray evo on green rx7 rims with hoosiers.. anyone have vids of my runs?

cars in the stock appearing class last year got the boot from having no cage.
and i'm not gonna toot my horn... actually i'm not.. i wasn't there and nor was my car so IDAG! haha
