we have a member with some exotics (caterham r500, 360 stradale.. has an evo)--

and another with the 430 and 599 (also has F40 and some others)

We were doing testing with two cars--- on the cooling and ACD systems---

and we will be there again shortly--

on street tires on a damp track we hit 156mph in our car-- on 93 octane tune-- so not bad---

shortly we will be back on lightning, instead of thunderbolt---

Thanks to Jalal for his amazing photos--

The next issue of modified has ALOT of CBRD in store- for their "track edition"

-just a note- most of our damper setups on the evo's are now JRZ and ohlins----

they are 285/30-18's on 10.5s, but the ad08's (and most advans) are built very wide-

we do testing/feedback with yoko advan--- our car actually has A005 slicks to run- but it was raining--

the track was fun, I had never driven there.. and only got about 8 laps--- but had a good time-- the flat out 4th into 5th gear corner onto the straight is awesome...

Because of the weather (downpours) and the purpose of our day at the track being to shakedown and analyze the GG car, our own car only did about 8 laps.

It's too much car for the ado8s... About 3 laps then they fall off dramatically. Next track day (in about 2 weeks) it will be running on slicks!

There is also a high def video coming online featuring CBRD and the cars.

the long runner and proper turbo sizing actually has quicker spool on this car than any other billet (30R-ish) sized turbo we've done on a standard manifold- but its making power all the way to 8400 rpm

decreased backpressure, proper sized turbine, and good drive on the compressor- goes a long way-

the car is getting a new aero compressor wheel and intake manifold and tbody- it should jump about 45whp- at the same boost- putting it around 525whp/390wtq on 93 octane on our dyno.

Thanks for the answer!! So just to clarify: with a proper set up, relieving backpressure etc can lengthen the life of a turbo?
