if my memory serves me right its on mid 10's....
yup the V and VI are monsters and very unforgiving if used daily. between the VII and VIII i prefer the VII coz its beauty grows in you the USDM VIII errr IMHO needs the DAMD fascia lol
Definetly get th RS. I dont care even if it doesnt have power windows. You would have that race car feeling.
The car does grow on you, the longer you see it, the better it looks! WEIRD!
Good luck w/ your life in the states. I used to live there for 7 yrs, saved up then went back here. After 3 yrs after I got back I decided it was time to UNLEASH the $$$$$ I saved up. It was worth it.
I used to have a 2000 civic Si back in the states. Used to drag race it in pomona raceway. They allowed the public every month to run. My fastest time was only 15.6 1/4 mile. ALL STOCK. How fast was your B16?

x7eVoLuTiOn7x were did you get that cf shifter console from. It looks LHD. The only one I could find was the Ralliart one for a RHD with the ash tray on the right.

x7eVoLuTiOn7x,

i dont know how fast it go but on the circuit my butt tightens up after a 140kph straight @ 3rd > decelerate to 100kph shift to 2nd > heel toe to 1st entering the hairpin
getting the RS would be a llloonnnggg courtship with the car before i can utilize half of its potential. based on my experiance with the B16b, it took me a year before i began to drive it properly on the circuit.

pix - my white hatch beside the red lan-evo VII with ralliart goodies me wearing black shorts

nice pics again......how much did it cost you to build the hatch w/ type r engine? was it reliable? Were you able to blow away SiRs? how far can you leave them in a 1/4 mile?

thanks,
the CTR front cut used to cost 250-270K and the hatch normally goes from 180-200K depending on its condition, preferably i chose the 1 in its original paint and plain stock. installation and additonal parts like the 5 lug wheel will sum up abt 100-120K. extra performance parts will depend on the depth of ones pocket anyways, i opted only for the stock set-up with minor mod on suspension and chasis stiffening.
nope havent tried gauging it with an SiR.

imajinmyfx,
yup, its cheap on other standards but for guys meargerly earning a month, it still cost an arm and leg. probably its best to say that there are plenty of options on getting the lan-evo coz 4 to 8 are readily available locally, should i say on the gray market and its on LHD. the lan-evo 1-3 is a bit rare and all of them were RHD. pajero evo is also a sight to see but still need to contend that its originally RHD. (check the pix i got from the web the owner is from cebu, i think)

haha this guy has a tight car and a tight looking house to put his car in. I was just wondering how much a EVO VII would cost there.
