this is slightly off-topic, but can anyone authoritatively say which front-ends do NOT require bumper reinforcement modification?

 

 

do-luck makes tasteful body kits and other small appearance stuff for 240sx . . . pretty much their main stay of sorts.

 

leave the evo VII conversions to the regular lancers. you have a evolution VIII meaning it's evolved from the VII.

 

i def. like the look of an 7 much better than the 8
the 8's front and rear bumpers are too rounded and curvy
and the front end looks like a pontiac
i'm sure that's just me
i like the edgy clean cut lines of the 7

 

When i heard news that the Evo was coming to US, i was expecting to see the 7 come over. But when they changed the look and called it a 8 i was totally turned off. I love the 7. I'm actually very surprised that many of you like the 8 better.

YES 7 all the freakin way! sorry, i'm just a sad lancer boi who wishes he waited a freakin year to grab the evo, but rather got too happy to see lancer and bought one. But the 7 is my fav. look of them all. 8's are nice and have beautiful lines that fit the body so well. All the lines match up perfectly and every line matches...whether it's the line off the corner of headlight that goes all the way back to the corner of the taillight...or the front bumper..how it maches the curve of the front fender and all the way back to the rear bumper........8s are beautiful......If I had an Evo8...Id keep it same. There's no need to make something nice.....just as nice. Like the old saying..if it's not broke, don't fix it. Use the grand or whatever to mod the GOFAST that screams to be unleashed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just my 2cents!@!!

 

oh yah, the line off the front bumper is perfect with the line off the side of headlights and fender....Sorry, I've looked at all my buddies evos way too much........

 

To me getting my Evo 7 Body kit was mad worth it ...

At first I wanted to convert everything exactly to look like the 7 ... however as many know the price is impossible (esp to me)... I love my car more now that I put on the kit ... I mean I know its still an 8 but to me it looks much much better ...

Plus its your car do whatever to it to suit your taste ... plus its gonna look diff from others

Your hood looks different from my stock hood, Didnt you get a 7 hood? Or is that a stock 8 hood?
