WickedIXMR's end of the year RE-build thread *Pics inside*
Thanks!
Huh? I think you might have the wrong thread.

If any of the pros can help me here, I torqued down the ARP 2000 rod bolts that came with my Manley turbo tuff I-beams to 55ft/lbs with ARP ultra torque lube using a snap on digital torque wrench. I also torqued it down in 10ft/lbs increments starting from 15ft/lbs. Manley are the ones that told me to torque it to 55ft/lbs. I did some reading and that's what "some" people recommend using 30 weight oil and 40ft/lbs using ARP moly lube. Now I'm kind of confused here. I don't have a stretch gauge, but I'm considering buying new bolts and a stretch gauge just in case I over stretched the current bolts. Maybe I'm being a little over paranoid since this is my first motor, but any help from the pros would be appreciated!
Meanwhile, kudos to you for putting this thread together and having the heart to take on this challenge. I'm living vicariously through you until one day I have the !@lls to do it. Again, great thread.
