You DON'T need a carbon fiber hood. Its heavier then the OEM one.

That is true but I have mine for the looks and also there is more vents on mine to keep everything cooler.

I did it my self. this would be my second time doing it as the last time I finished it and I think a week later was smashed by a civic.. so Iknew what I was going to do just took my time with this one heres a shot from in the engine bay.. allows all that air straight to the intake..
