Welded rear doors?

Recently, I have had the idea of welding the rear doors and shaving the rear handles on my RA sportback (yes I know this is the evo forum, but I thought I would get more responses here and this applies to the evo as well.) My goal would be to turn the car into a three-door hatch for show/uniqueness. The end result would be something like the picture below without the tacked-on body stuff. Any ideas on the possible cost and a shop that would do this in the tri-state area? Thanks.
