I had the usdm with the apr rear diffuser and switched to the jdm rear. Jdm rear definitely looks better.

 

Agreed, just a better starting point for a lot of visual mods

I can confirm, the rexspeed extensions work work well, tried it years back...

But did you actually have them in the rear?... On the actual bumper with the diffuser?

Sorry for the confusion. So, I tried to go that route with those rexpeed side (bumper) extensions on the rear bumper along with the diffuser but I didn't get it to work. I would have had to cut the extensions and it looked awkward as I test fit it, too much going on.
