Looks like my old Nokia cell phone that changed colors. I always thought it'd look interesting on a car. Very cool, look forward to seeing more pictures of your car.

What's that color called? It's a PPG "Harlequin" paint, right?

Now you just need some carbon fiber parts with the "Harlequin" clear coat to match.

no its not PPG, nor House of Kolor, is not Chameleon, its not Chromalusion, its not Harlequin.

it is Sherwin Williams Multi-Tone, shifts MUCH more than the other brands (however does cost a lot more.)

the difference is that all the other color changing paints have a pigment in them. This one has NO PIGMENT. it is all chemcially bonded to a basecoat to produce different colors. and therefore shifts dramatic colors, from red to white, to blue, to purple, to dark grey.

The Mystic paint on the 96 Cobra? The '04 Cobra is also available in Mystichrome, which is similar, and even the seat panels & steering wheel get the treatment (do a search on eBay as there are a bunch for sale there).

I'm not a fan of the color-change paint.. But in one photo, it looks like a House of Kolor kandy brandywine, I have a tarmac black evo and the paint is checked and damaged from tree sap and bird crap, very acidic around here, literally did damage in hours.. I am going to do a brandywine topcoat over the black and our test panel looked ALOT like that..

That is what I was thinking.. I had the same nokia.. LOL....
It's an intresting color.. not my choice of color for my EVO.. maybe I'm going to paint my classic mini the same color.. .. .. but I can say it's very very unique.....

Do you have any close up photos of the car.. Thanks..

Wrong, they are producing 04 Cobra's. They are pretty much the same as the 03 except you now have a choice on the seat insert color.

Oh yeah, there will be a Mystichome color also.

my bad meant 05 when the new body style comes out. The next one will be an 06 after the 04, so they will skip a year and discontinue the Focus SVT as well.
