New Shoes!! 5Zigen Gunmetal

Well, I know some people dont like these rims, since they are not lighter than stock, but they are almost the same. I personally dont care for the stock rims, and they arent that light. Anyways I got these Thursday they are 17x8 +27 offset with 245/40's ( Yokohama AVS 100's ) I like the tires, they feel pretty grippy and I love the look of gunmetal on yellow or any color for that matter

Sorry about the quality of the pix, it has been cloudy so it was kinda dark, I will try to get better pix, and hopefully I will get a chance to lower the car next week, I have the Tein S-Techs sitting here

Well..... ...OR.....

Looks good. It would look better once it's lower to the ground.

Look like mine. Mine are from Nippon Racing though.

I get many compliments on them. I think these wheels look great!

WOah, they look good. I think they'll look better on red tho. hehehe... Im still waiting for a CF front lip. Here is my theme for my evo: CF hood, CF front lip, and Gunmetal rims. I think those 5 Zigen are sexy as hell. How much did you guys pay for them? Thx

Kind of interesting that everyone is liking it now that they see them on an Evo. There was more negative than positive comments on them in this post : https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=56724

I'd like to see them in Hypersilver on an Evo. Where did you get them and what did you pay?

LOL, yeah its gonna get lowered next week if I have time.

Broeli...I know what you mean

I actually have a business lic...so I can get them at a pretty good price. But on the average they run about $1400-$1500 or so with tires mounted and balanced, lugs and shipping.

Excellent choice. Nothing beats a recessed, polished lip.

Those 5Zigen Typhoons look a lot like the gunmetal Konig Holes (17x7) I just bought this week for my black '90 GSX:

The Konig's were lighter than anticipated. Did you weigh your 17x8 5Zigen's?

Sorry didnt weigh them, I think they are about the same, maybe 1 or 2 lbs heavier. Doesnt really matter to me, im sure once I begin the modding those 2 pounds wont even be noticed (not that I notice it now) But I love the look, new pix will be up soon.

IMO they look kinda small or maybe your tires are fatter than the stock ones. either way they look decent not really my style.
