this is why i'll never get electric sports cars or hybrids. sound is such a huge part of motor sports. i don't care how much tq you get with an electric motors, you can't beat the sound coming out of that monster under the hood.

outstanding, I think most on this forum have "the gene" just cant help what we're born with. Must be eye opening to be at the track doing your thing and then seeing that knowing that what you do means more to some people than just finishing first

 

Simply amazing. And at the same time; So simple.

Thanks for sharing, I'm glad I looked into the "show and shine" section today. This picture conveys the love affair I have with racing!

My favorite part of camping out at the racetrack is the early morning warm-up sessions. Lying in the tent, hung over, while the distant sound of ALMS cars warm their engines. Then you can hear the first car all the way around the track, waking everyone up and proclaiming...its race day!

The sound... its my favorite part!
