Fun mod day

Spent all day working on Evo.. was awesome. Pics below of newest MAP goodies as well as Toxicfab cam sheild and my newly painted calipers! I used silver duplicolor caliper paint (4 coats) and duplicolor high temp clear (3 coats). But summer RPF1s on too... Brave I know.

Thx. Removing the clear was the most time consuming. This was an all day job. My plan initially was to just keep em red and redo the clear until I was ready to powdercoat. But the base coat red was even f'd so I just switched up color. I'll still have powdercoater do em up good. We'll see how long paint holds up.

Sweet. I am planning on paint mine, but I was going to take them off. Considering not now.

The clear on mine is almost all the way gone, so it shouldn't be too hard.

Thought I'd share this. I was at work the other day to re-clear my Brembos. I had my car on my lift peeling away at the old clear for a while; a slow process. Then a tech 2 bays over suggested using a blow gun to take the clear off. Man that worked great. I used a compressed air nozzle with a direct tip on the end of it. It blew the dry old clear flakes off so fast.
