Pics of my IX
<grin> I don't really have a daily driver, because I don't have a daily drive. I drive the Evo almost every day.
The mudflaps aren't there for looks.

I'd like to install a single-LED shift light. That's about it. I've contemplated a locking rear diff, and even came close to ordering a couple of times, but I don't know if it'll make me any faster or allow for a more enjoyable drive. The car is very predictable as it sits, it's easy to catch and it's stupid-fast around corners on the street, and I'd hate to lose even a fraction of that behavior.

When these cars were new, one could walk into the classifieds and buy a brand new, factory Bilstein suspension and the factory BBS' for what seems like a song. IIRC, the BBS' got down to ~$400 (!). Four hundred frucking dollars for essentially brand new, forged, 18lb 17x8 wheels. Unreal. It seemed like almost everyone who bought these cars immediately ditched the stock wheels for some boat anchors and the unbelievably refined Bilstein setup for a cheap Asian coilover that was never designed for this platform. It's as if we were witnessing a spread of a disease.
