front lip is trashed... worth it to replace?

I have been blessed to live in an area with acute driveways and monster speed bumps. Right now my front lip is trashed... it looks like garbage, is there any lip which may sit a little higher on the car and will help me avoid scraping the hell out of my car? I go sideways (all the time!) through drive ways and such, but the driveways are so bad, it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Thoughts?

Garden trim, some bolts and a drill.

Might have to go with no lip or go back to stock ride height if you are lowered.

Do you have the stock lip? That's the highest one that exists. All aftermarket lips sit lower. I had the same issue as you but a much worse outcome. I hit something inside a huge puddle when it was pouring down that it knocked off my lip completely. Fortunately the bumper is fine. Go back to stock or stock ride height....

So here is the tbing with cf lips... and most cf parts for that matter: its typically just brittle fiberglass with a single layer of cf on top to give it a carbon fiber finish. In order for carbon fiber to be strong it needs to be layed in Multiple layers with a special reain then baked in an oven, usually in a vacuum form. That being said its expensive and risky for folks to buy "cf" lips because they are fragile. So, no its probably not worth it in your pothole prone environment.

I would recommend you buy a cheapo abs plastic lip from ebay. They are cheap so you wont cry if you scrape it up. You can easily sand them and respray. Lastly you can think of it as protecting your bumper.

If your area is really bad you might wanna consider armour methods that rally cars use. Hard to tell from your post if that extreme of a measure is really necessary.
