The evo handles way better thn the 1series the suspension is more stiffer. But in the straight line the 1 series was putting the power down a LOT more smoothly and comfortably thn i was

Ive got a 335i and an evo and the n54 powerdband is def butter smooth but its so boring! Nothing drives like an evo!

Nice pics but you seriously have trouble keeping up with that car? You sure something isn't wrong with yours? Not trying to be mean but I have only ever ran 135i's from rolls and I have no issue pulling away from them. What is your low boost setting? My 9 has pretty much the same mods as your 8 minus the ported mani and I have a larger ETS IC, I'm running around 26 psi. Were you going from like an 80 roll? Something just seems off.

I could only stay with him. Im pretty sure nothing is wrong with my car. Even riding with him the car is felt like it pulled harder

135i's from rolls and I have no issue pulling away from them
What mods did they have? They open up pretty quick to mods

What is your low boost setting?
I am at 290HP at about 25psi

Were you going from like an 80 roll?
40,60,80 a couple of times

 

With your mods @25psi you should be easily 350awhp on a dj. I have similar mods w/ stock 05 turbo @25psi and my virtual dyno is saying 360 awhp.

Edit: Well regardless of numbers I think your buddies car definitely is pumping out more than a tick over 300 hp considering that's what they produce stock. If hes pulling on your IX turbo he has to be close to 400 awhp. Personally I'm not a fan of horsepower figures rather trap speed. Either way both cars look great mang.

STM STOCK 135i- 243HP/264TQ
K&N Filter on 135i- 246HP/266TQ
CobbAccessPort & Filter on 135i- 297HP/326TQ

My friend also has an exhaust on his which is most likely adding more power. Numbers don't like folks I am already under powered just with a k&n filter and a tune. So I don't think there is anything wrong with my car the 1 is just faster

 

Do you have a link to what LED halos he has? I just tried putting in a set of hyper white 40$ eBay ones in my friends 135 last night and blew them out instantly.. I guess that's what you get for 40$ lmao
