Small Update:

New tires arrived, downgraded from the 265/35s I had and am now running 245/40s. Was able to lower the car back down about 1/2".

I also hit 50,000 miles today, so I celebrated by changing my oil and washing the car.

That is all.

This can also be moved to the 'build thread' section if a Mod feels the need.

Please don't take this as hate. But help me understand .

My question really is I saw you posted in the Rota thread stating that basically your safety is a true concern and you would not run "fake/copied" wheels.

But you'll put 245's on a 10in wheel leaving the wheel to actually sick out passed the tire nearly rubbing the rear 1/4 panel w/ a crap load of rear - camber. And you think that is safer?????

I'm so confused with this whole thing.

I don't take you comment as hate.

Honestly, you have a point. I guess the real reason I 'dislike' fake wheels is because they are ripping off legit companies by copying their designs and then selling them at a fraction of the price and durability. I may not be a "fan" of fake wheels, but that doesn't mean I am going to hate on you just because you have them. Everyone has reasons why the run fake/reps. I've learned to not HATE so much on the fake wheel industry. It's inevitable and they aren't going away.

Is running a 245 on a 10"&11" wheel safe? Probably not as safe as running a 295/305, but it isn't that dangerous. I don't track my car, it's strictly just a daily driver for me and I know a lot of people will hate me for not using it for what it is intended for, but in the end, it's MY car.
