Not using the car the way most think its intended is one thing. Taking the performance out of the car is another thing all together.
I know the OP says he can track the car since he has another set of wheels for that purpose but I've yet to see a airbag system perform as good as a decent spring/strut or coilover combo.
His car, he can do what he wants. I'm kinda tired of fighting the Hella Flush thing at this point. It will pass, like the JDM thing did and the Neon Lights. Things happen in cycles and soon performance will be the new thing to do to your car.

You didn't take any performance out of it? I can guarantee your car would be hard pressed to keep up with a stock EVO once the road starts to wind.
When we mention performance from an EVO standpoint we obviously are not talking about it's 2.0L turbocharged power plant
.The EVO was built as a street bread rally car. One that can actually go over bumps in the road, handle corners with precision, blast down snow and gravel roads with ease.
All of which would be well dangerous in your car. So yes you have rendered a factory bread race car useless in every way but sitting in a parking lot. Fun Fun
Enjoy
