custom hks gauge panel

custom hks gauge panel

here is my custom hks gauge panel i did out of fiberglass. it holds the new hks db chrono gauges in 60mm. you will see a before and after pictures..

and last is the night shot. you will also see where the clock was, is the hks evc controller... and the other half of the evc is where the ashtray is located.

Nice work, looks good.
Just out of curiosity, why did you decide to go with the gauges mounted low instead of moving the stereo down and having the gauges up high? I like the controller location too.....I have redundant clocks because of the clock in my HU

we finally decided on putting the gauges at the bottom since they are the larger 60mm and they look more in place than at the top, als0 we didnt have to mess with the customizing of the a/c controls if we did it on the top.

i spoke to the guy that helped me do it, and he said that being that it takes a while to do, he will do it for 250.00 and you provide the factory piece. its kinda pricey but again, you get what you pay for..

hey, with these before and after pics... how did you get the piece to be the same color? what did you paint it with?? BTW i LOVE the EVC location... VERY good job!!

i used a spray paint made by SEM and i purchased it at a body shop supply store.
