Opinions on 3M CF Wrap

Sup fellow evo heads! So my job just sent me to training to become a certified Paint protection film installer and I graduated with a 90% average with written and hands on exams

So I decided that my first real install was going to be on my MR9. I got a 60" x 60" piece of 3m carbon fiber. Me and some of the guys from Porsche the Main Line (were i work) helped with the install and 3 hours later I have a trunk that looks just like a carbon fiber trunk and also covered the gas door. For about 1/10 of the cost of an actual cf trunk!

Im posting this because I wanted some feedback on how people think it looks. Also weather people think I should go wingless or keep the wing.

Its really an amazing technology and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to personalize their ride with out spending a ton of cash on actual cf parts.

Heres some picks I took of the finished product.

Dude! It makes life so much easier! I did my spoiler last weekend. Although the reason I did my spoiler was because the clear coat had got burnt out by the sun (it's already carbon fiber lol) I just couldn't waste my time paying someone to fix it for me and it was going to get burnt out again.

How did you handle the seam situation?

You have an awesome car, just fork out the cash to get/ keep to good stuff on it.

Otherwise you might as well be driving a neon IMO.

Well I only did that piece that is pictured in the picture I posted, but for where it connected to other parts I just made it longer than needed and stuck it down then very carefully cut off the part that was not needed with a razor blade.
