I've wanted to do this a while, finally got the time and everything needed. Rally Red Evo has been in big snow country (salt) since it's first owner, always a DD. One door had been repainted, the rest was faded, and some rust. Needed paint, but I like to play on gravel roads too much to spend big bucks for a real paint job. I don't want an Evo to baby, I drive the hell out of this thing. I still have to pull apart the wing for new mounting and paint, and paint the door jams and inside of naked trunk. Hopefully this winter or next year I can pull the engine and paint engine bay while I'm at it. Enjoy!

something tells me the wheel gap is there due to the frequency of times this car is airborn..

it doesnt look like it see's much street time to me..

 

You don't see too many Evos on here that have a rally setup..but I can see that lip ripping off your bumper. It's happened on WRC cars enough times.

Wheel gap is there because I have KSport rally gravel spec coilovers, I raised the car 2". I also have a 3/16" 6061 aluminum skid plate and steel tow hook made by Thompson Racing Fabrication. Thanks for the comments!

 

I think I like it. Wouldnt do it myself but it makes sense for you.
