btw, I got an EVO 7 too, but no owners manual. do you have an owners manual that you can email me? thanks!
The Sultan is named Hassanal Bolkiah (arabic). I don't know how rich he is though. Most of the royal families here owns plenty of cars.

I've got the owners manual but it's a hardcopy. I don't have a PDF copy that i can email you though. I'll try to source one up.

If you have any pictures of your Evo 7 sand blasting on the beach or something, please feel free to post it up here. Cheers !!

Hey Kuni,
Street racing in Singapore? Not much of a scene. Reason? Car prices in Singapore are ridiculously high and so is the number of cars on the roads! An evoVIII here will cost you S$150K (US$88K), so who would truly risk that amount of money. But there is a thriving group of Evo enthusiasts there... so we keep the fire burning...

Wow... Those are way cool pics!

Do you guys get a lot of scratches on your cars? How soft/hard is that sand?

That looks SO fun, but worried that I would mess something up, if I did that.....

I would really appreciate it if you can find one that you can email me. I'm planning to change my fluids but dont know w/c is w/c & where? transfer case, transmission fluid, differential fluid? are these the only 3 fluids I need to change? same as US spec? Or does the euro spec 7 have more fluids I need to change? I got ACD/AYC. thanks!

It was mostly medium hard sand (no stones). If it's too soft, dust will easily get into your intercoolers and also your airduct which is not good.

One of our members evo got quite heavy scrathes on the bottom side skirt due to impact with small rocks but that was before we ventured into the mostly sandy area which was perfect. But it was nothing, a paint touch up would easily solve that problem.

You have to take slight risk once in a while, but the fun was worth all those damages. We don't do this every week and I think all of us deserve to have a fun sand storming once in a while, he he

Dear x7eVoLuTiOn7x,

I would ask Angel of Mercy about his matter since he's had his evo's fluid changed. hopefully tomorrow he'll be able to post an answer to your queries.

Fluids

1) Transmission 75w/90 gear oil (u need about 2 litre of this.. use about 1.7l+-) (Drivertrain area) (i use Mobil)
2) Transfer oil MMC Diamante (i think the name is right.. its the original MMC oil, can't remember of the top of my head) (a lot of this) (this is filled up from the boot area and under chassis)
3) Differential oil Hypoy LS (1l use about .6-7l) (Differential area front and back) (i use Castrol)

I think this is correct.. I'll scan in the info page and post it here when i can...
