Finally got one
Hey everyone,
The first time I ever went to MOD in 04' with my talon and a bunch of evos from AMS I wanted an evo. Well the hard work of college is starting to pay off! I finally got one today, after owning dsms since I was 16 (24 now). Starting with a 95 TSi, and moved to a 98 TSi AWD that was in the 500hp power range. So I am no stranger to the 4g63. I had three requirements for buying an evo: must be a ix, must be WW, and 50,000 miles or less. Well I meet the first two and got damn close on the third.
2006 Evolution IX GSR WW 51,588 miles
I bought it from Bigguy24 on here, and before that this car belonged to Spaceman.
Mods:
- KW version 3 coilovers + camber plates
- JMF intake
- Buschur turbo back
- manual boost controller
- Boostin Performance tune
331hp / 296tq Dynojet
Things I plan to do:
-Powder-coat the rims white.
- MR suspension for winter
- other than that leave it stock for now
-maybe a quieter exhaust, i am thinking tanabe touring
I am used to a big turbo AWD car, so driving this car with the stock turbo is a BLAST! already love this car!

congrats on the purchase i also own ww its one of the best colors!! if you want a quieter exhaust pm me i may have one for ya maybe trade or something!! either way congrats on the purchase enjoy and take care of her!

I too wondered that when I read that... So are you going to get your car aligned twice a year (after you install the mr suspension, and after you install the KW suspension)? Because that's what you will have to do.
