I wasn't thinking potholes really but rather the congestion and cabs. I stay in Manhattan so I'm familiar with that whole area, not so much Bronx and such. People actually screw pieces of rubber to their bumpers because getting hit is inevitable lol.

I drive an X into Manhattan and Queens every other week and yes the sound between the buildings and through the tunnels early in the morning (5:30am) is awesome. You have to be mindful of the pot holes and huge road seam changes around the bridges (makes me cringe). Bonus round is setting of car alarms and waking up the heroin junkies with a blow off valve.
