Matte Orange Makeover
Matte Orange Makeover
Here is the current state of the evo and the wrap that we did on my daily evo for this season. will be changing the look again next year so just wanted to have it here since the last thread I put up was botched by ppl commenting/hating on what was not the focus of the thread and finally the mods deleted it (thank goodness ^_^) But just wanted to show the car with the final photoshoot that we did with the car at night. Thanks for taking a peek! ^_^

Here are the rest of the images that shows while it was being worked on.

Yeah guys the color did fade after a season so that is why she is more yellow now. But to be honest I love the color of the car now than before. But she will go through another makeover so wanted to post her up here before that happens. Besides she matches the fall leaves now better which begs for another photoshoot! ^_^
you stated youve done a makeover
how tough was the removal of the wrap? did it ruin the paint at all
Ive considered wrapping mine for the heck of it
possibly matte silver gray or black
but was concerned regarding its removal if i changed my mind
your car looks sick in orange
i would even consider that

Thanks guys! It was not bad removing parts of the wrap. When I took out the sections to show the original black paint. The only thing that would be a nuisance would be when the adhesive delaminates from the medium itself and stays on the car, this only happens on a small percentage of the removed vinyl, all it needs is goo gone or some elbow grease to rub it off and it is fine. As far as paint, no problems whatsoever with that.
If this is the one from StanceWI you guys needed to cut your extra wrap closer because i could see the extra tag ends hanging out at the show. Props for doing it your self though id be scared away from doing it myself, I get bubbles putting on 8inch stickers.

It was the same evo from Chi-town. The makeover is in the beginning of this season. The original post was taken out by mods because it became off topic and just had so much hate in it. I couldnt agree with the mods more. That is why I posted the most recent pic we took of the car and just named the thread the same as before.
Cheap I have a hookup from a buddy for the material, did it myself. But some folks are talking about plastidip being better. *shrugs* I dont know since I have not done that... yet ^_^ but wrapping the car is not bad just very time consuming. But if you have the patience, time and a heat gun your golden. ^_^
Thanks, the trunk spoiler is something I searched for to find something suitable for the car that is NOT an evo spoiler and did a custom job on her. The black is the original black paint of the car and a front APR CF splitter was added to complete the look.
