Yes, I fit one in mine. Had to take it out of the box, but it fits

 

I sell the bumpers, and they even fit in my IX-MR with a full Cusco 7 point cage! Lol.

 

 

 

So, is there no point in buying the JDM rear license plate bracket, since the holes wont line up with a USDM plate? Just modify existing middle bumper bracket and USDM plate bracket to fit?

 

Yes. Some aftermarket crash beams also have provisions to mount the US place bracket

 

Boosted Fab has a nice rear crash bar with a license plate + lights bracket for a complete solution.
After Hours Automotive has a much more robust bar if safety is concern. It has provisions to more securely mount the jdm bumper, as well as mounting tabs to connect the usdm license plate bracket to it.

I’ve got Boosted’s crash bar with the light bracket and it’s a great piece. Only issue is there’s no way to secure the center of the bumper so you have to fab something yourself.
