18x10 wheels on springs?? Good idea?

I'm thinking about getting the xxr 521 18x10 and having the swift spec r springs with the Evo 9 MR suspension.. What do you guys think.

I'm new to the suspension stuff so this may be a stupid question I know..

It would fit fine but if you are going with the "hellaflush" look which is what I suppose you are trying to do by getting XXR wheels, that drop is going to look silly. Get some coilovers...

Well I would want that look but have those dumb driveways

What about 18x19.5 wheels? You think it will look good? Just a good drop with little bit of whee gap? Or will there still be too much?

i kind of thought you need coilovers because the stockish spring coils are too big and wont fit with wide wheels? maybe im wrong.

18x9.5 would look sick, you should get coilovers though. like that guy said itll look funny with just springs.
