My DIY Hood vent insulator

Just got a CF hood and it just has mesh unlike the factory hood. so for winter I figured I would put something in to reduce snow/water from getting in the bay. Here was my solution, It cost me a grand total of $4.

Good job on being creative and the DIY.. But that's super ghetto.

And the OEM vent has bigger and longer holes.

Like I said this is just temporary, I work 3rd shift so the odds of getting snowed on is pretty good. And $100 is a waste of money for a piece of tin foil that falls apart. My Evo only has 60k miles and the factory vent insulator was broken in two spots when I traded it for the cf one.
