Evolude's IX MR
Hi everyone,
I've been a member here for quite some time but I have never posted much about my car.
Two days from today is the 6th anniversary of me buying it and since I'm doing a couple of cosmetic repairs, I wanted to show them here.
The car started as my DD when I got out of college and started working.
But I slowly began modding it and started racing at the local solo uno events here in PR.
Last year I had a bit of trouble by going too fast and not adjusting my braking point and this happened:
After a bit of elbow grease:
Because I wanted to keep running the track events, I postponed fixing the damage just threw a SE lip to replace the stock one which broke in two parts at the crash. But because the driveway to my folks home is so high, when I visited them, the lip would always scrape.
Now, after almost a year after the crash I took the car to a repair shop and while at it, they repainted the rear bumper while repairing the front fender and bumper and also retouched all the bumper and hood grills.

Thanks!
Also I'm giving some love to the engine bay.
I took the valve cover off and the manifold heatshield off.
The valve cover is going to get some powdercoat paint while the heatshield will get a coat of high temp flat black paint.

A small update on the car.
All the parts were painted and the wheels refinished. Here are a couple of pictures of the car at a local meet this past weekend.
