I want a trunk and hood. Then it gonna really make me want a roof as well!

 

Curious if you can use the spring from an RS trunk what the difference would be over the winged trunk spring......

 

Hmm, thats an idea. I have tried to pull one of the arms out of the spring in my car. A steel wingless trunk is still too heavy for it. I would think with a carbon trunk though, removing one of the bars would work out ok.

 

I've really thought about the roof as well! Seeing as I have a sunroof, it would really benifit me on weight and rigidity! The labor involved is what scares me lol

 

Yup, sunroof here too, although it would save some weight, I dont know if im ready to give it up just yet lol.

 

 

Yeah I think steel is too heavy, so that's why I rec an RS aluminum, probably pretty close, or close enough it doesn't destroy your deck lid lol

Got mine too. Did both at same time since had minor front collision and rust formed in the trunk where wing's attached which cost the same as new trunk to fix.

Got them (together with cf lip) from a member here who used to be a vendor. J.liu is his evom name. He'll work with you to get them to the price you both will be happy with. They're all Vis Racing. I'll pm u price once I remember how much for all 3 items. I think their main website is Lhtuning.
