Just got my Eclipse TV/DVD player, Need help

I just got my Eclipse DVD/TV and i've been putting it in. I was just wondering, instead of hooking it up to the parking break, how do I bypass this so I can have it without the parking break engaged? Also, does anyone have any suggestions where to mount this beast of a receiver? It won't fit in the glove box

Well I don't know for sure but I think when the ebrake is up vs down there is a certain voltage reading....If you can find a constant source, you should be able to do it..

tie it into the ground, since all it does is signal a break in voltage. thats how the eclipse one works (i have had three installed, 1 av7002, 1 av8022, 1 av8134).

as far as receiver under the passenger seat with the rcas facing toward the passenger door

Mount the receiver under the passenger side seat...GROUND the parking brake wire.

Trust me...I've been doing systems for 13 years

oh ok, i see it was at the exact same time, cool. well look at the good side, you got 2 different reponses telling you to do the same thing independant of each other....i'd say you cant get any more perfect or correct of an answer than that!!
