tails.

i have seen like the tails painted black but.. i was thinking if i could get the right paint code and paint my tails the same color as my car(silver) it would be almost ferrari-like. you know how ferraris have the lights the same clolor as the car and it looks good. well anyone else think this might look good as well? just a thought.

Cool idea. Don't underestimate how tough it is pull the lights apart without mesing them up. I've done a few sets and messed up a few sets. Be careful.

I'm not sure there will be much of a difference with the silver instead of the chrome to justify the pain involved in doing them. I like the black. Here is red and it makes a big difference.

Did mine in chrome black. Good idea, I think silver tail on silver car is nice. Well, taking the tail light apart is a *****!!! I tried for an hour and just gave up. I just taped up the lenses and paint over it. It works just fine for me and it turned out pretty good. Yea, becarefull with the heat gun or the oven, bc you can melt plastic tail lights. Also use a xacto knife to pill the cover open, but becarefull not to scratch the surface. I'll post some pics after I have them installed tonite. I had fun doing it, it's very frustrating and challenging, but well worth the time. Peace...
