Thats exactly the dilemma I've been wondering. To tint or not to tint Tarmac black. Good to here your opinions. Pics help too. May have to do it.

you can't go wrong with the classic black tint... reflective, i think is kinda... i ono.. not really digging it. looks kinda ricey to me i guess.

I have 20% on my black Stang and looks pretty good. Black on black really needs some flashy rims in my opinion to offset all that black. I always liked tasteful tint better than 5% or such. 35% is actually what I plan to go with on my next car. 20% is a cop magnet, plus you can't see out at night.

I have 20% on the sides, and 50% on the windshield of my TT and I love it.. I don't have any problems seeing at night, infact its actually helped me out because I no longer get blinded by oncoming trucks, and I don't get blinded by the cars behind me..

Ill be honest though, Im not sure if Ill be going this dark when I get the evo.. With the big wing, and an exhaust (I reinstalled the stock exhaust on my TT) Im worried about attracting too much attention from the police.... At night if you look in through my windshield you can't even see me sitting behind the wheel.. As for the evo Im thinking 35% on the sides and 40/50% on the windshield..

It usually is....but with 50% its probably harder to spot than say 5%(limo tint).

Budlong.. It is illegal to tint the windshield, but considering the sides are already illegal at 20% why stop there.. Truth is its hard for anyone to even notice the winshield is tinted since its at 50% and the sides are at 20%.. When you look at the car your eyes are drawn towards the side windows, and even if you do look at the windshield its so much lighter then the sides that its hard to even tell its tinted..

Getting limo tint can become a visual hazard especially driving at night. Decided to go with 20% all around

I have 35's all the way around on my Evo with the windshield not touched. It's really not DARK, persay, but it does a nice job at keeping a lot of UV out and keeps the car a bit cooler. It'll also help the life of your dashboard
