Nice project!!
What ignition system do you use? It's seems like buschur's.. That coil on plug system works properly with OEM ecu?

Thanks for your time.

To be honest with you I actually did that number on stock coils. That is a switzer cop setup and runs of aem twin fire which the twin fire sucks in my book the box is bad and all my buddies that run aem cdi box on there Hondas have to replace them non stop. Which aem is good at replacement but its the hassle. I really want the spark tech setup just don't have the funds right now. Hopefully soon tho.

Just out of curiousity how long would you guess the motor should last at that power level?

I'd like to say awhile it wont make any knock and everything is real late in the rpms. But it's def not safe and don't recomend anyone doing it I just have plans that may not intail this block anyways so may as well have fun and push the limits. But prob not long.

Thanks. Ive been debating adding a prec 6262 to my setup but im a little gunshy of putting it on a stock block car. However im sure I could run low boost on the 6262 until I got the funding together for a built bottom end.

I put 30000 miles on this car with a 30r daily driving for 2 years everywhere. At 450 hp. You will be fine with a 6262. Would recommend head studs tho but it's safe

Its studded now, it was studded when the cams were put in. Im looking for a little more than 450whp out of the 6262. Im putting close to that down as is on dynojet numbers. The 392 was on a mustang dyno.

This time last year I put down 500hp 400ft. I felt pretty comfortable driving that daily if necessary but I didn't need to so I didn't. Torque is what you need to worry about most. 400ft is really the most I would want for daily and that will be real fast.

Thats why I have now is 421 ft lbs on a mustang dyno. I havent had it to the track yet due to a hurt clutch which is getting replaced with a twin disc this week.

Nice like to see other people pushing it! That's a good bit of torque on stock motor on a mustang dyno. Put a 6262 on it keep it at that torque level and make 550-600hp. May as well.

Thanks for the credit! Owner does all his fabrication which I can definately appreciate. This build although high in hp/tq on the stock block does have some things working for it such as ecu controlled boost and e85 and most importantly look at the rpm which this is all happening . We will be heading to the track along with a few other cars in the next 2-3 weeks with out eyes set on the stock block record.

Wish us luck!

No prob had to throw out credit where it is due and well deserved. Def can't wait to see what happens at the track and it would be awesome to try and beat the stock block record may be possible. Thanks for everything and we will see what happens
