So the skinny is I traded my mint 8 tails on here to a guy who said he would trade me some IX's. Me being Mr. Gullible and trusting a guy cause I have it in my head that fellow members on here wouldn't screw each other over send out my tails. Only to receive some BS horribly painted 8 tails in wretched condition. So after thinner, paint remover, scraping, wet sanding, cleaning with carb cleaner, and re painting; 6 months later I have a decent set of tail lights.

I already have a set that I bought online to match the colors on my IX HID fronts that I got from another member on the forum. I wanted to do something with these though, didnt really want to throw away a set of tails. I know that I put more work and money into something worth about $50 then I should have but anyways without further a due ....







I think they would look great on the WW IX RS daily driver that I wish I had..

^I have to agree. I also have to agree that I believe/trust people more than I should. Having belief that there are decent people out there is like believing in a unicorn. It's always that 1 ahole that we run into / deal with. Somehow found themselves in the same path as you!

Sorry about those tails man, it really sucks that people aren't able to trust each other. Forgive and forget, it obviously went down like this for a reason. haha
Depots would be a good investment.

Yes as stated in my first post I picked up a set of depots already, I just did this cause they were lying around and wanted to do something with them. They are indeed not shiny at all, but that is fixable. This was just after I sprayed the color. Maybe I will finish them up and post some pics of the final product.
