when done properly, they can look good on other cars too. for anyone with an E46 M3, you may have already seen the Hamann car, but, for those who haven't check out the gull-wing style doors on this car! i think it looks cool on coupes, but not sedans.

i met someone yesterday who "supposedly" is the brother of a guy that vertical doors did his EVO. of course the kid was about 15 and didnt know **** about cars so i kind of took him in stride, after listening to him blabber on for about 15 minutes about how his brothers EVO is the veilside EVO and the HKS EVO, i walked away. But he couldnt prove it to me at all. comming from a guy who's car life is major shows, SEMA, HIN, NOPI, IR. i can tell you a 4 door car like the EVO LOOKS LIKE **** with lambo doors since in order to fit, they must **** out then up ot clear the rear door. they look like crap.

 

I would say no. I saw one on a civic the other day downtown and it looked stupid.

Exactly! With 1600, one can make their car very very fast. Spending 1600 on the doors will only make the car look fast....ok maybe not, just makes it look rice.
