Evo 8 CF Front Lip Quality

I was looking into replacing my busted CF Front Lip and was wondering about the quality of Carbon Creations. The one I had previously was a well built part but they are on back order so I am forced to go with a different company due to time restraints. If the quality is just as good then the lower price will just be icing on the cake.

If anyone has any information on the quality of Carbon Creations front lips or anything they make please let me know. Also if there is another brand that make good quality parts that might have one in stock please let me know. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Also I am looking for the Do Luck Style CF Front Lip for an Evo 8. Not just any old front lip. Carbon creations calls it the Demon and Rexpeed calls it the D Style. Name doesn't matter. Just that it is that style of front lip.

How busted up is it?

Order some carbon fiber sheets 2x2 and some epoxy resin. Depending on your weave pattern, I just got done patching it up mine. all it needs is some clear coat. it looks like nothing happen.

LMK if you need help, it beats buying a new lip

I went ahead and ordered the Carbon Creations one. I didn't want to wait too long and be to late. I will update with what I think of it when I get it.

I would have looked into fixing it if it wasn't in such bad shape. It's cracked pretty good in one spot and then another piece is actually busted completely off. I did a pretty good number on it. I still have it and may mess with it eventually but since I just ordered a new one, fixing the old one will be on the back burner. If it's even worth it. If I go about trying to fix it I might get a hold of you. Thanks.

Got the Carbon Creations Demon Front Lip yesterday. Packaging was very good and the quality is pretty good also. The only downside is that the mounting locations aren't predrilled and it doesn't seem as rigid as the Rexpeed that I use to have. If I have to do it again I would just go ahead and spend the extra $50 or so and get a Rexpeed. Still though, not bad at all.

The bayson R motorsports front lip is the best bang for the buck. Mine fit perfect, predrilled holes and all. Just gotta catch them at the right time when they have them in stock lol
