Just curious looking at a couple tarmac black evo's and was wondering how durable this black is compared to the crappy black mitsu put on the 2g dsm's?
Just not wanting to get color thats going to fade and start flaking away soon, thanks,

 

Mine looks great with the exception of scratches and such.

 

My car came from AZ and the roof is now flat black. I guess as long as you dont let it sit int he sun you should be fine.

 

Its a *****. So hard to keep clean and scratches easily. Get graphite gray/white/electric blue

 

Its still crappy.

 

dam id think mitsu would have gotten the paint right by now, well looks like electric blue or gray will be the next option im not a big fan of the white seems everyone has a white one,

 

if you wax at least once a year, paint should last for years

 

I'm Tarmac Black now but I will be repainting next year. Not sure what color yet.

 

Mitsubishi paint is crap. You should pick a different make and model for your show car.

 

I have a tarmac black. Dont get one. The only photos you see of TB are the immaculate ones, an dontget me wrong, IMO a clean TB looks better than any evo...but those are the rarity.

 

not a show car but already had mitsu black paint on my eclipse and wasnt impressed with the quality, not sure why your being rude?

 

defintly alot of nice pics of black ones floating around on the interweb, just wanting something better quality than what i went thru, looks like ill be needing to find a new color,

 

My bumper and hood are covered in chips. It almost bothers me to wash it as i notice more and more issues.

I agre with the others, the paint sucks and it was the same with my GSX.

I have a TB Evo, the paint takes a lot of work, all the time but I wanted a GSR SE so it was the best of the three colors.

 

The TB is beautiful if super well taken care of..just hard to find them for sale in good condition and they're a lot of upkeep. I'd grab a electric blue!
