Thanks for the heads up! I will be looking for an aem shortly. I just got this k&n one at the time because it was pretty much came free when I purchased the exhaust lol! :-p

Just a note about the full race manifold...I dont have that one, but I do have the pro-stock and it came with mild head and turbo flanges. I thought they used pure stainless and I wish I would have gotten mine coated before installation.
I was debating on getting it coated as well. And also reading that the manifold was made from stainless steel made me decide on not getting it. How is yours holding up?

What made you decide to go with the bottom mount vs their new top mount manifold?

Mine is holding up great, but the flanges are bothering me with surface rust.

Stainless is a great material for manifolds, but not too many people use 3d contoured head flanges like they should.

I know toxic fab makes nice manifolds, and I will be getting one in the future.

I don't have an answer for you on that one. Only thing I did was swap out the stock gsr rims with the TEs and and that's how they turned out.

Odd. Cause I'm on stock suspension still n the gap is smaller so I was curious. Nice car

No particular reason to be honest. I had asked Jeremy, earlier today, whether or no there were any performance benefits. He said it was just preference.

Well as long as the manifold itself holds up, but the rust would start bothering me. On the other hand, I did get confirmation that if you purchase direct from full race, you get lifetime warranty on their products. But that doesn't transfer over if I decide to sell their product to the next buyer.

Thanks Man! I wanted to go for a stock look and it's looking pretty stock with the 4x4 look....kinda embarrassing, but it's effective lol

Thank you good sir! I'm hoping to work on it cosmetically, not over the top right after this small but costly upgrade

Hey guys! Here's a small update. I was so excited at the fact that I received these parts this weekend and looked forward to today to get them installed and dynoed......but the excitement quickly hit a wall.....almost like the wall you hit while running a marathon (happened to me on the 18nth mile). Apparently, I forgot a few essential items when running a newer setup, from stock to T4, which include a dumptubes, downpipe, and midpipe. I was pretty pissed off, but nothing could be done. So I called Full Race at 8am, got on the phone with Jermey, and told him the situation. It usually takes 2 weeks to get the downpipe made, since they're made to order, but he said he could get it out his shop next Monday. Since i'm in California, it will take 2 days, so Wednesday the 16th is install day. I came home, dumped my 5 gallon container of coins and started rolling them up in their appropriate coin sleeves and dropped them off in the bank........lets just say that the teller that helped me out was not happy to see me twice in 1 month LoL! Will post pics soon!

These were the parts I ordered today:

Full Race Evolution 8/9 Twin Scroll Dumptubes 38mm Wastegates

FR-DP-EVO-TS Evolution 8/9 Twin Scroll 3" Downpipe 1 425.00 425.00T

FR-MP-EVO-PS Evolution 8/9 ProStreet 3" Midpipe 1

Hey guys, here's a quick update:

Got all the parts in....or so we thought. Ran into some issues. While clocking the turbo we had to make some clearance. Ended up cutting the front motor mount a tad bit along side a small corner of the transmission. I know it sounds weird, but i'll take some pics of it. Also had to notch a small part of the radiator fan.

This picture was pre notching of the motor mount and tranny.

You can see how the waste gate is right on the radiator fan but we notched that as well. Oil lines are being made and it should be done shortly

Looks good. Strange that you had to trim the mount and fan though.. I wonder how much worse it would have been with an aftermarket radiator? I'm sure aftermarket motor mounts would fit better (most are a little smaller).

I think this setup would have been ideal for a half rad. We just didn't have enough clearance for the licp. We didn't take much of the motor mount either. Just enough to rotate the turbo to fit a 90 degree elbow. I'm going to look into aftermarket motor mounts and see how much smaller they are.
Thanks for the advice
