You know, I have concidered, scratching a line and painting it black, on the needles.
I might do this next week, it would improve the day time view.

I ordered the needles last week and should get them around Thursday of this week. I am installing the needles only and keeping the stock gauges. I will post pictures as soon as I get them installed.

Believe it or not, I really don't have a problem seeing the needles in the day.
I DID have problems wit the stock red on black/red at night, and slight probs in day, (had to really LOOK at them, not just glance).
The needles actually show up as a black line most of the time in the day, (optical thing I guess)?
I want the scratch a line down the back of each needle and put a thin stripe of black paint, for the day.

Overall:
I'd like more detail on the day overlays, along with being able to see the idiot lights better, at night, I have no issues.

Yea, for some reason the overlays look 'plain'; maybe its the lack of KPH numbers, I dunno

But I will admit the red/blue night combo looks pimp

The needles light up with the lights on, (the way I wired them) [/B][/QUOTE]

So they can probably be wired to be on all the time just like the stock ones then?

Personally, I prefer warm, subdued night time gauges. The last thing I want is something big and distracting. Best case, I'm annoyed, worst case, they are too bright and my eyes have to adjust everytime I look down. Red > all.
